MAMA Bucks are a Montrose community currency.  They are an incentive to shop locally and are accepted like cash by most Montrose businesses.  MAMA Bucks are purchased at the MAMA office by individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations for a variety of uses.  MAMA Bucks are also issued for MAMA promotions and for special event support.

MAMA Bucks are an actual check.  Businesses receiving MAMA Bucks for goods and services should process them like cash,  and then simply endorse the back and deposit them directly into their business bank account.  All Montrose businesses may participate in the MAMA Buck program.
